Move from Solo to Team
Adding a second producing agent to a Solo account moves it to Team in two clicks, prorated, at the rate you already have.
Solo is one producing agent. The moment you add a second one, you are running a team, and TetherLines moves you to the Team plan in the same flow, rather than blocking the add or billing you by surprise later.
When it happens
Open Settings, then Team Members, and add someone with a producing role: Agent, Lead Buyer's Agent, or Team Leader. Support roles (ISA, Admin, Transaction Coordinator) do not trigger this; a Solo account carries two of them free.
Instead of saving the new member straight away, TetherLines opens a short dialog.
What the dialog shows
- The plan you are moving to: Team.
- The Team rate, from your own price book. A founding account pays the founding Team price; the move never resets your rate to the current one.
- The amount charged today, prorated for the rest of your current billing period, and the full Team rate from the next period on. The number comes from Stripe, so it is what your card will actually see.
Confirm, and two things happen at once: the subscription changes to Team on the same card and the same billing date, and the new team member is added. Decline, and nothing changes, including the member you were adding.
What changes on Team
Everything in Solo stays. You gain the team rollup on the Dashboard, team splits and cap tracking on the Team Splits tab, and Coach View. The first thing to do after the move is set the new agent's commission profile; see Configure team splits and commission profiles.
Growing within Team
Team covers up to ten producing agents at one flat rate, and support seats up to twice that. Adding agents three through ten changes nothing on your bill, and there is no proration inside the plan. If you cross ten, the eleventh is added normally: nobody is cut off, nothing is charged retroactively, and we reach out about Brokerage.
