Terms of Service

Welcome to TetherLines. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TetherLines platform, including our website at tetherlines.com, web application, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). TetherLines is a real-time performance tracking platform designed for real estate professionals.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a real estate team or brokerage, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

To use TetherLines, you must be at least 18 years of age and a licensed real estate professional, or an individual employed by or affiliated with a real estate team, brokerage, or related organization. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

TetherLines is currently available by invitation only during our beta period. Access requires approval by a TetherLines administrator. We reserve the right to accept or decline access requests at our sole discretion.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. TetherLines uses email and password authentication. You agree to use a strong, unique password and to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating your account, including your name, email address, role, and brokerage affiliation. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Team accounts are managed by an account owner. The owner may invite team members, assign roles (such as Admin, Team Leader, Agent, ISA, or Transaction Coordinator), and manage permissions. Team members' data is visible to authorized users within their organization based on role permissions.

You agree to use TetherLines only for its intended purpose: tracking real estate business performance, managing contacts and transactions, setting goals, and related professional activities. You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Service without written permission
• Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Misrepresent your identity, role, or brokerage affiliation
• Use the Service to store or transmit content that violates third-party rights

You retain ownership of all data you enter into TetherLines, including contacts, transactions, goals, activities, and commission information ("Your Data"). You grant TetherLines a limited license to store, process, and display Your Data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of Your Data. You represent that you have the right to enter client contact information and transaction details into the Service, and that doing so does not violate any confidentiality agreements or privacy obligations you may have.

TetherLines may use aggregated, anonymized data (which cannot identify you or your clients) for the purpose of improving the Service, generating industry benchmarks, or conducting research. Individual records will never be shared or sold.

The TetherLines platform, including its design, code, features, documentation, branding, and visual identity, is owned by TetherLines and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without written permission.

The TetherLines name, logo, and brand elements are trademarks of TetherLines. You may not use these marks without prior written consent.

TetherLines is currently offered as a beta service. This means the platform is under active development and may contain bugs, incomplete features, or errors. The Service is provided on an "as is" basis during the beta period.

During beta, we may modify, add, or remove features without prior notice. We welcome your feedback through the in-app feedback tool, and your input helps shape the platform. Participation in the beta does not guarantee continued access or any specific feature set upon general availability.

We make reasonable efforts to protect your data during the beta period, but we recommend maintaining your own records as a backup. We are not liable for any data loss that may occur during the beta.

You may stop using the Service at any time by contacting us to deactivate your account. Team account owners may remove team members at their discretion.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately.

Upon account termination, we will retain Your Data for a reasonable period (typically 30 days) to allow for data export requests. After that period, Your Data may be permanently deleted. Contact us at support@tetherlines.com to request a data export before deletion.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TetherLines and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

TetherLines is a performance tracking tool. It does not provide financial, legal, or real estate advice. Commission calculations, goal projections, and performance metrics displayed in the Service are for informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any calculations and for making your own business decisions.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to TetherLines in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100), whichever is greater.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any defects will be corrected.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Utah, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by sending a notice to the email address associated with your account.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the Service.
