Export your data, and what happens after you leave

Download everything in your account as one file, any time, and the 90-day window that applies once an account goes read only.

Your data is yours. You can take a complete copy of it whenever you like, whether you are staying, leaving, or just keeping a backup.

Export everything

  1. Open Settings, then the Account tab.
  2. Under Account Data, select Export account data.
  3. A single file downloads. It contains every record in the account: team members, clients, appointments, pipeline entries, transactions and their commission details, goals, lead sources, referrals, lenders, and the transaction coordinator files if your account has that add-on.

The export is a JSON file, which any developer, spreadsheet tool, or import routine can read. It is a snapshot of the account at the moment you ran it; run it again whenever you want a newer one.

Only the account owner (the Team Leader role) can run an export, because it contains the whole team's business. Agents who want their own records can ask their team leader for the file.

Exporting while read only

An account that is read only, because a trial ended, a payment failed, or the subscription was cancelled, can still open Settings and run the export. Reading is never switched off. That is the point of read only: nothing is deleted, and you can always get your data out.

The 90-day window

When an account goes read only, a 90-day clock starts, and you get an email that day and another 80 days in.

  • Within 90 days, start a subscription again from the Billing & Seats tab and everything comes back as it was, at the rate you had.
  • After 90 days, the old rate is no longer kept, and we do not promise to keep the data either. If you are leaving, export inside the window.

One window, two consequences; the emails tell you the exact date.

Deleting your account

If you want the account and its data removed rather than kept read only, email support@tetherlines.com from the owner's address. We confirm, delete, and reply when it is done. A deletion request is honored even inside the 90-day window.
